A Focus on Aging: An RWN Membership Drive 2025 Program
Maximize your customer reach and enhance client relations by participating in this virtual Lunch & Learn that will help you foster an age-friendly community.
Ann Cunningham, Leanne Rorick, and Kristen Rund of the Monroe County Aging Alliance will take a close look at the language of aging, the value and benefits of older populations and multi-generational teams, ways to create inclusive workplaces and community spaces for people of all ages, and more at this free event open to RWN Members and not-yet-Members.

Ann Cunningham, Director: Oasis Rochester
Ann Cunningham is the Executive Director of Oasis Rochester, a non-profit organization which provides opportunities in lifelong learning, health, wellness, and community engagement for older adults. A passionate advocate for older adults and ageism awareness, Ann is a trained facilitator with the National Center to Reframe Aging. She previously worked as an Audiologist with the Rochester Hearing and Speech Center, specializing in diagnostics, hearing aid fittings and aural rehabilitation with older adults. After spending time at home raising two daughters, Ann worked in the Audiology department of Monroe #1 BOCES. She is a committed community volunteer, which has included service on the board of Sunset House hospice, the Executive Committee of the West Irondequoit PTSA and the West Irondequoit Central School District’s Board of Education. She is currently an elected Town of Irondequoit Board member.
Leanne Rorick, Aging Services Administrator: Monroe County Office for the Aging
Leanne Rorick is the Aging Services Administrator for the Monroe County Office for the Aging, bringing extensive experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit aging services and programs. She previously served as Co-Director of the Monroe County Aging Alliance, a collaborative initiative between the Rochester Area Community Foundation and United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes, where she played a key role in developing the county’s first age-friendly, livable community plan.
Leanne has also held leadership roles at Lifespan of Greater Rochester, including Director of the NY Connects program and Regional New York State Certified Long Term Care Ombudsman Program Coordinator. She served as President of the New York State Ombudsman Alliance and has managed independent and licensed senior housing communities across New York State early in her career. A certified facilitator with the National Center to Reframe Aging, Leanne educates communities about ageism and the value of older adults. She is an active member
of the Board of the Greater Rochester Area Partnership for the Elderly (GRAPE) and the Rochester Spinal Association. Leanne lives in Honeoye Falls, NY, with her husband, two sons, and their German Shepherd, Nyx.
